Considerered the largest leisure area of São Paulo and one of the most beautiful sightseeings of the city, the Ibirapuera Park welcomes around 200 million people during weekends, and it’s a refugee for a great number of “paulistanos” who are looking for tranquility and green areas. Paved paths spread all over the park, that has four lakes, and for those who like practicing sports, there are tracks for running, multi-purpose sports courts, fast food restaurants and areas designed for kid’s and the whole family.

The people who like art and culture can enjoy at the park options like the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), the Oca, the Bienal Pavillion and the Japanese pavillion – which has a replica of the Kyoto Palace in Japan- and the museums of folklore, aeronautics, planetarium and the obelisk.

Around the park, celebrating the country history, there are the Praça do Modelismo (airplane model square), Monumento aos Heróis de 32 (Monument to the heroes of 1932), o monumento às Bandeiras (Monument to the flags), Monumento a Pedro Álvares Cabral (Monument to Pedro Álvares Cabral) and Monumento Ayrton Senna (Monument to Ayrton Senna).
